South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: December 22, 2025
Merry Torchmas! A tranquil travel period takes us through the holiday weekend. Patchy to widespread dense fog during the late night or early morning hours may reduce visibility at times. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and increase distance between vehicles if driving in foggy conditions. In addition to needing Rudolph’s nose to navigate to deliver those holiday gifts, Santa will need to dress in a t-shirt, tank-top, shorts and flip flops with near record warmth near 15-20 degrees above normal and close to the record highs in 80s set in 2015. Much colder air returns around New Year’s Eve. A freeze is likely with a hard freeze possible to ring in 2026.
