South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: December 3, 2025

A brief break in the rainfall today with a few hours of sunshine. Mid–high level cloudiness returns overnight followed by rain showers arriving by midday lingering into the afternoon and evening hours on Thursday. Heavier bands of rainfall may set up on Friday & Saturday. Rainfall totals could reach 2″– 4″ over the weekend. It’s a stratiform precipitation event, which means rainfall rates will generally be low and combined with dry soil conditions and river levels running low, the flash flooding threat is low at this time, but make sure to have a contingency plan in place for all those holiday festivities and events that are planned for this weekend.
