South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: November 7, 2025
Hodgepodge of weather or a case of weather whiplash. Above average temperatures in 80s with areas of patchy morning fog this weekend. Isolated strong to severe t’storms possible tonight and again Sunday. Gusty to damaging wind 40-60 mph, a brief tornado or two, and small hail would be the primary threats. Rainfall totals will be light generally a quarter to half of an inch or less. Much drier air with low relative humidity combined with gusty winds of 20-30 mph and ongoing drought conditions will result in potentially near-critical fire weather conditions Monday. Temperatures tumble 15-25 degrees below average as winds crank on Monday with frontal passage. Wind chills tank to near 20 with actual lows in mid-20s to low-30s for the first widespread killing vegetative freeze of the season Veterans Day and Wednesday AM. Temperatures will quickly moderate back closer to seasonable norms later next week.
