Skies clear overnight to make for a spooktacular Halloween. Ghoulish chill Halloween evening in mid-50s falling into the upper-40s for trick-or-treaters. Coldest air of the season with lows in upper 30s-lower 40s on Saturday morning. Patchy frost in wind-protected areas for northwestern communities is possible. Slight rebound in temperatures this weekend. Rain chances look less and less early next week.

Melissa passes near or to the west of Bermuda tonight then weakens further but increases in size as it transitions into a large extra-tropical cyclone as it brushes by Nova Scotia, Canada.
