South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: October 16, 2025

It was a toasty Thursday as Albany topped out at 88°F but full sunshine to wrap up the 2025 Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie! Extreme and Severe Drought have expanded across SWGA. Prospects for beneficial rainfall on Sunday look much lower than previous forecasts. A slight chance of scattered showers are possible. Dry air dominates as temperatures return closer to seasonal norms.

A tropical wave located near 10° N latitude & 40° W longitude has a low chance of development once it reaches the central Caribbean Sea by middle part of next week. The next name is Melissa.
