South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: July 17, 2025
Typical July day with seasonably hot temperatures and scattered storm chances. Hotter and drier trend this weekend. Heat approaches dangerous levels (HX 105°-108°+). Invest 93-L is tracking over land near Louisiana coast with its chances of development decreasing. Interestingly, some of its remnant moisture may re-emerge over the western Atlantic to enhance rain chances next week. Rip currents are a significant threat along the Florida panhandle and big bend beaches. Swim near lifeguards, but don’t enter the water if double red flags are flying.
