Dougherty County Police Department hosts National Night Out 2025 on Thursday, July 24

ALBANY, Ga. — The Dougherty County Police Department invites the community to join them for National Night Out 2025 on Thursday, July 24, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

This year’s event will feature:

Free book bags and school supplies
Free food and hygiene products
Free giveaways and games
Live music and more

“We’re proud to host this event that brings our community together,” said Chief Kenneth Johnson, Dougherty County Police Chief. “Through strong partnerships with local organizations and agencies, we’re able to provide a fun, safe environment while helping families prepare for the upcoming school year.”

Dougherty County Police will be joined by various public safety and community partners to support the event and engage with residents. Families are encouraged to come out and enjoy this upbeat evening of fun, connection, and back-to-school support.
