South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: July 14, 2025
We’ve topped yesterday’s high of 96° already in Albany, GA. It’s 98° but “feels like” 104°. Camilla has the highest heat index number of 108° flirting with 109° – 110° last hour. It is dangerously hot and humid out there. Practice heat safety, take frequent breaks in the shade or A/C, & stay hydrated! A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 8 pm and another one may be issued tomorrow. There is a Marginal Risk for an isolated strong to severe t’storm with damaging wind gusts the primary threat. Torrential downpours and dangerous lightning will accompany any thunderstorm. Watching the tropics as a weak disturbance moves across the Florida Peninsula into the Gulf. It has a low chance of tropical development over the next 48 hours & 7 days.
