South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: July 9, 2025
Rain and t-storms got an earlier start, but will be gradually ending throughout the evening. There could be areas of patchy fog developing reducing visibility at times. It’s a rinse and repeat for Thursday and Friday with widespread storm coverage once again with some producing torrential downpours that could cause flash flooding. Seasonably hot with heat index values reaching the triple digits. Stay hydrated. Lower rain chances this weekend. Hotter into mid-upper 90s with more humid conditions trend for early next week. That will also be our next opportunity to watch out for heavy rainfall, especially if a weak low pressure system develops over the northern Gulf.
