Carpenter Road Church in Tifton celebrates 50th anniversary
TIFTON, Ga. – Carpenter Road Church in Tifton is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a full weekend of events this June.
It all begins this Friday at 7 p.m. with a community fish fry. Pre-registration is required, and a special guest will be on hand to share remarks during the meal.
On Saturday night at 7 p.m., gospel group Southbound will perform a free concert open to the public.
The celebration wraps up Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. with a special anniversary service led by guest speaker Reverend Ronnie Luke.
