South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: May 27, 2025

The severe thunderstorm watch has been canceled with the exception of a few counties as most storms have weakened as outflow dominates, but could still produce gusty winds. There is another cluster of storms moving over eastern Mississippi into western Alabama, but given our “worked over” air mass, not expecting those to maintain their intensity, if they move into our area by early morning hours. Afternoon and evening strong thunderstorms will be possible each day for the rest of the week. Temperatures cool with lower humidity by the weekend. Remember, When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors!
