Wetter weather pattern the next 24-36 hours extending into the weekend and possibly early next week. First batch of showers arrives Wednesday afternoon. Next rounds with thunderstorms likely on Thursday, Friday, and on Saturday. Rain showers for Mother’s Day. Even with antecedent dry conditions localized flash flooding is possible. 2″-4″+ of rainfall is expected areawide with locally higher totals possible.
