February ends seasonal with another moisture starved cold front passage this weekend. Spectacular weather for the Combos Marathon in Albany and Rhythm and Ribs Festival in Tifton and all the other activities planned around the area. Warm and breezy Saturday. Lower humidity levels and elevated winds may result in high fire danger. Much cooler Sunday into Monday. Strong to severe thunderstorms remain possible mid-week particularly on Wednesday including the potential of damaging wind gusts, large hail, and a few isolated tornadoes. Rainfall totals will average an inch or less. Cooler air returns by the end of the week. Have a great weekend!
