CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: February 27, 2025
Enjoy the tranquil conditions as March arrives like a lamb for at least the first few days of the new month. Pair of moisture starved fronts brings seasonably cool mornings, but with higher sun angle, warmer afternoons. Mid-week: 6 days out: SPC has defined a “Slight Risk” of severe storms which includes all of SWGA on Wednesday, March 5th. The threat begins over portions of ArkLaTex and Lower Mississippi Valley on Tuesday, March 4th. All hazards are possible including damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes. The location, magnitude, and timing of severe weather risk will evolve in coming days. Stay tuned for updates!
Don’t forget! Look up! Planetary Alignment: On Friday night, February 28th all 7 planets will be briefly visible in the night sky. Mercury and Saturn will be very low on the horizon. Uranus and Neptune will require a telescope. Venus, Jupiter, and Mars will be bright. Look Southwest! Forecast sky conditions in SWGA: Clear skies for perfect viewing!
