Auntie Angie’s House seeks volunteers for Restoration Day event to help renovate new unit to provide transitional housing
ALBANY, Ga. – With more in Albany, Auntie Angie’s House will be holding their restoration event this Saturday, to help the community in a big way.
Auntie Angie’s House is asking for volunteers and materials, as they look to renovate a four unit home to provide transitional housing for women and children.
We spoke with founder Angela King for more insight.
“We’re just coming in to fill an area where there was a need, and that is housing. We do have a housing crisis, a housing epidemic. So, we wanted to step in and just be there for women and their children until they can finally get their final place of stability,” Angela King, founder, Auntie Angie’s House.
