Health departments react to Tropical Storm Fred

Area health departments close in advance of coming storm to South Georgia area

ALBANY, GA – Early Monday afternoon, area health departments announce closures in light of Tropical Storm Fred and it’s expected landfall.

Due to the threat of inclement weather related to Tropical Storm Fred, Southwest Health District 8-2 is closing all its locations within the following counties:

Calhoun

Colquitt

Decatur

Early

Grady

Miller

Mitchell
