J-Lo’s Animal Rescue & Sanctuary’s Cocktails for Canines
ALBANY, Ga. – J-Lo’s Animal Rescue & Sanctuary combines cocktails with a cause, in an effort to make a big difference for our four-legged friends.
A combination of fun, philanthropy, and furry friends created an unforgettable evening as guests enjoyed signature cocktails, lively conversations, and united in support of rescue efforts.
“Well, I’m a 501(c)(3) nonprofit licensed dog rescue. The reason for this event is to raise money for all the dogs that I have in the rescue and in the sanctuary. We do it about once a year, and it helps fund us and keep us going,” said Jessica Lopez, Director, J-Lo’s Animal Rescue & Sanctuary.
The evening wasn’t just about mingling and enjoying cocktails — it also featured a lively auction. Every dollar raised will go toward supporting the rescue’s mission of helping animals in need.
“I work very closely with the humane society and just community members in general. They call me when they find a dog that they need help with. I can’t always help with every dog, but I try the best that I can. I care for nurture, vet, take care of the medically, feed them, play with them, socialize them, put them up for adoption,” said Lopez.
The Albany community truly came together to make this event a success, with significant support from local businesses and organizations.
The event served as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together for a common cause.
