Phoebe Worth hosts annual Lights Of Love Tree Lighting Ceremony

A heartfelt event honoring cancer survivors and supporting those currently battling the disease.

At the Lights of Love Tree Lighting Ceremony, the community came together to support Phoebe Worth and hear heartfelt stories from those affected by cancer.

Among the speakers was Kathy Oliver, a three-time cancer survivor, who shared her powerful journey and the challenges she overcame.

The evening concluded with a touching moment as the lights were illuminated, and the crowd joined in song, holding candles that symbolized hope and unity.

“The Lights of Love Tree Lighting Ceremony allows people in their community to come together and make donations to actually help the cancer clinic and the cancer center, and we always honor a survivor of cancer. And, this year’s survivor is Miss Kathy Oliver. And, she could not have we could not have picked a better cancer survivor for our community. She’s from Worth county. She’s lived here all her life, and, just a really a pillar of this,” said Kim Gilman, President of Phoebe Worth.
