Tifton District Attorney Bryce Johnson passes away
TIFTON, Ga. – The Tifton Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office has announced the passing of Tifton DA Bryce Johnston due to a unexpected medical emergency.
Johnson was first elected in 2020, and severed the counties: Tift, Irwin, Turner and Worth. He was also recently reelected to a second term unopposed.
The Chief Assistant District Attorney, Patrick Warren, will fill the position until a successor is decided.
The Tifton Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office has stated they will continue regular proceeding during this time.
