Ashburn-Turner Co. Chamber Awards Banquet “Night with the Stars” scheduled for January
ASHBURN, Ga. – The Ashburn-Turner County Chamber of Commerce is preparing a celebration like no other to honor its hardworking community members.
“We have done the chamber banquet probably I wanna say since the 60’s,” said Ashley Miller, Executive Director.
But, this year Miller and the Chamber wanted to change things up a bit…
“In the past we’ve always had a committee of previous winners chose the next winner and so this year we’re opening up to the community, we’re going to do nominations, so we’re looking forward to some impact from the community,” said Miller.
The Ashburn-Turner County Chamber awards include…
“Farming here in Turner county that is so big, our businesses of the year, and then our citizen of the year is usually the person that has made the biggest impact in the community,” said miller.
Not to mention this years awards have a special theme…
“This year we were kind of coming up with different ideas and night with the stars came up and we thought that might be fun, it’s just going to be celebrity Hollywood kind of theme, so we’re going to celebrate our local celebrities here with our awards,” said Miller.
The Turner County community stands together…
“We’re a small community, but we’re big on heart and big and big on community,” said Miller.
The Ashburn-Turner Co. Chamber Awards Banquet “Night with the Stars” will be Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 6 p.m. at Turner Co. Elementary School Gym.
