ATLANTA, Ga. – Now, while we’re a week removed from Election Day, the final votes have been counted in Georgia’s 2024 general election.
According to the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office, the state saw record turnout with nearly 4 million people casting their ballots before the November 1st deadline.
Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger says the State of Georgia saw on average across the state low wait times of less than an hour, despite threats.
Raffensperger followed it up with us talking about…
“These are the results and voters can trust the results. I want 100% of voters, no matter what side they’re on, that they trust the results. That’s why it’s really important for me to make sure we improved the voter experience, because we’ve found that that’s when voters really begin to trust it. Not just when your side wins, but also the lines move quick and you get the results posted quickly,” said Brad Raffensperger, Georgia Secretary of State.
