Gov. Brown signs bill suspending Oregon graduation testing requirements

After more than a year of distance learning, graduation requirements are changing in Oregon. Governor Kate Brown has signed Senate Bill 744, which suspends essential skills testing for the next three years. Normally the graduation pre-requisite evaluates a student’s ability to do math, read, and write. It was a requirement put on hold during the pandemic. The founder of the group Mxm Bloc said right now, educators have to be flexible.
