Ga. High School Football Daily awards Offensive Line of the Week to Lee Co. Trojans

LEESBURG, Ga. – Not often do offensive lines get recognized.

Lee County Football received Offensive Line of the Week presented by Georgia High School Football Daily.

After their big win against Thomas County Central.

Georgia High School Football daily travels to a new school each week to presents best O-Line.

With only only 12 schools receiving the award in all of Georgia

Giving some recognition to the players that you don’t see on the stat sheet.

“It feels great that our hard work is coming to light and having a huge success on Friday nights,” said Jayden Daniels, Lee County, O-Linemen.

The line consists of Jayden Daniels, Carter Lawrence, Shavex Dixon, and Dom Vigil, along with tight end Durrah Butler and fullback Alex Smith, who would help the Trojans get 347 yards of total offense.

But even though this day was for them, Offensive Line Coach John Flath knows how selfless his group is every week

“They get there satisfaction out of the success of the team. They do whatever they have to do to help us win. And when the quarterbacks, running back get the recognition that’s satisfaction for us. We can take pleasure in a job well done,” said John Flath, Lee County O-Line Coach.

Lee County just announced there next game against Coffee will be postponed.

But it will be played on Friday Oct 11th next week.
