Officers from the Chicago Police Department lined the street leading to the Chicago Medical Examiner’s Office early Sunday morning, as the procession for their fallen colleague, a 29-year-old officer who was fatally wounded in a traffic stop shooting, made its way down the street escorted by a trio of pipers and a single drummer.
