CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: September 16, 2024

Potential Tropical Cyclone # 8 has moved inland over the Carolinas with flash flooding from heavy rainfall and tropical storm-force winds, but the system lacked the organization and ran out of time to be classified as a named storm. Additional development is not expected. The remnants will essentially wash out over southern Appalachians. Rain chances very slim then totally disappear. Cooler mornings to warmer afternoons. Fall begins with Autumnal Equinox at 8:43 am Sunday morning.
