KPeele’s Growing Pains celebrates one year anniversary of gym opening
TIFTON, Ga. – It may be just off the beaten path, but one Tifton business owner is celebrating the one year anniversary of her gym.
For Kelly Peele, she’s excited to see the Growing Pains gym make it to one year.
“It’s a blessing, to be honest with you. And, it’s funny that you say that, because some would say that it’s off the beaten path, and it might be kind of hard to make it. But, here we are one year in it strong and business is going great and it’s just a blessing,” said Kelly Peele, owner, KPeele’s Growing Pains.
Kelly tells us about her experience in getting Growing Pains off the ground…
And… how there were challenges along the way.
” it was in the most like not ideal conditions, like most opposite of ideal of conditions economically was to even open a business like this, especially something that takes so much like as far as like a financial risk,” said Peele.
And… there’s one aspect that Kelly has enjoyed in the past year…
Creating a community.
“It literally is a community. It’s a gym atmosphere like no other. Really… people come in here bringing people together, so many different people from different walks of life and everybody is so nice. It doesn’t matter the fitness level. You have a question, you ask everybody; they’re very helpful and in helping you out. And, if you have any questions about anything,” said Peele.
And… as they get over that first year hump, Kelly’s looking forward to how Growing Pains expands.
“Keep coming and supporting, and we will continue to grow. And, I just couldn’t be more thankful for the people who have already become a part of this family and just really make it blossom and grow into what it is today,” said Peele.
Kelly’s incredibly proud of the risk she’s taken in opening Growing Pains, and she’s hoping more people will come out and continue to show her business support.
The gym will be holding their one year anniversary celebration at their location on 50 Tri County Road in Tifton on Saturday, rain or shine.
