Morning showers transitions to widespread rain, potentially heavy, Friday afternoon and evening. 2″-4″+ of rainfall is expected. Heavy rainfall Friday night. A Slight Risk (2/4) of excessive rainfall includes the entire area. Localized nuisance flooding of streets & low-lying areas is possible. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize flooding. Don’t cross flooded roadways. Remember to turn around, don’t drown! Rain likely Saturday with the heaviest gradually ending from west to east. Showers remain possible Sunday. Cooler than average temperatures extend into next week.
