Discover Life Vacations grand opening in Tifton

TIFTON, Ga. – In other news, a local business owner is set to cut the ribbon on a new Tifton location, where they’ll assist people in planning their next vacation.

Discover Life travel agency invites the community to the grand opening of their Tifton office on Thursday morning.

Co-owners John and Amanda Flener had been running the business for over a decade out of their Fitzgerald home, when they decided they needed a proper location.

Amanda spoke with us Wednesday morning about the excitement of moving to a brick-and-mortar space.

“In COVID when everybody went home, it is sort of a strange feeling to actually have a physical office. But, we opened our own agency with a few other independent contractors spread out all across the nation earlier this year. And, our office was kind of overtaking our home. So, this seemed like the next best move for us,” said Amanda Flener, co-owner, Discover Life Vacations.

The couple will cut the ribbon with the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce at 11 a.m. tomorrow morning.
