Phoebe Health System and Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day fundraiser

SYLVESTER, Ga. – Staying in Albany, the Phoebe Health System, along with a local franchise, are teaming up for a sweet fundraiser.

The health system has teamed up with the Sylvester Dairy Queen for its annual “Miracle Treat Day.”

Franchisee mark and his team handed out hundreds of Blizzards to the staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning as part of this fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network.

We spoke with mark and a member of the Phoebe Foundation about the impact of their decade-long partnership for this cause, Hillary Murphy, Philanthropy Officer, Phoebe Foundation.

Mark Casteel, Dairy Queen, Owner, Sylvester says every penny raised from the fundraiser will go directly to Phoebe’s Pediatric Unit.
