Near average temperatures, lower humidity, with breezy easterly winds due to pressure gradient between high pressure to north and PTC # 1 in the SW Gulf of Mexico. Rip current risk is high for Gulf coast beaches. This produces an onshore wind from the Atlantic Ocean. Hotter, more humid, with better rain chances this weekend. Potential Tropical Cyclone # 1 in Bay of Campeche is likely to become a Tropical Storm in the next 24-48 hours.
