Today’s Weather Authority Forecast: July 2, 2021

Matthew Crumley Weather
Numerous heavy showers/t-storms take over by this afternoon-tonight as a cold front passes through the area. Scattered t-storms linger on Saturday-the evening. Scattered t-storms, mainly south, on Sunday. Drier air may kick in long enough for those fireworks displays Sunday evening, but have a back-up plan, just in case! Slightly below average temperatures too in the mid-upper 80s. Seasonal temperatures closer to 90° returns early next week as we watch “Elsa” move across the Caribbean Sea. There is general consensus that “Elsa” will approach the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. We will need to pay close attention to the forecast track of this storm late next week. Stay tuned!
Have a great Independence Day weekend!!!
