Today’s Weather Authority Forecast: July 1, 2021

Another afternoon of scattered t-storms lasting into the evening. Today’s coverage of t-storms may not be quite as widespread as the past 2 days, however that changes tomorrow. Rain, locally heavy, becomes likely Friday PM into Saturday AM as a cold front sits on top of us or passes through the area. Unsettled weather holds for the 4th of July holiday weekend. 1″-3″ of rainfall will be possible for the holiday weekend-early next week. Slightly below average temperatures too in the mid-upper 80s. Seasonal temperatures closer to 90° returns early next week as we watch what will likely be “Elsa” move across the Caribbean Sea. We will need to pay close attention to the track of this storm late next week. Stay tuned!
