CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: March 11, 2024

There is a rise on area rivers, creeks, and streams from Saturday’s heavy rainfall. Minor river flooding is observed. Flood warnings remain in effect for portions of the Chattahoochee, Flint, Ocmulgee, and Oconee River basins. This includes the Kinchafoonee Creek and Muckalee Creek of which both have crested as of this afternoon, and will fall to or below flood stage soon. Several days stretch of dry weather settles in before wetter weather returns with chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms Friday, this weekend, and on Monday. In the meantime, temperatures warm up above average into the low 80s.
