CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: January 12, 2024

Below average temperatures this mid-January. Breezy, cool, mainly sunny with a few passing clouds this weekend. A few showers late on MLK Jr. Day. Rain likely on Tuesday as Arctic front plows thru. Wind chill readings upper single digits to mid teens & season’s first hard freeze likely Wednesday AM and again on Thursday AM. Frigid air lingers for end of the week, perhaps an even colder wave coming next weekend. Teens for morning lows are possible. Make those preparations now by winterizing your home, wrapping your pipes, and making sure your source of heat is functioning properly.
