CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: January 8, 2024

Real deal Tuesday, folks! Risk level remains the same (Enhanced Risk – level 3/5). Minor tweaks to narrow down the timing of the worst weather, a bit faster arrival in the morning, possible renegade supercells in western counties. Threats are: Damaging to Destructive Wind (70mph), Tornadoes (a few strong EF2+), Strong Non-Storm Winds 25-35 mph & Gusts 50-55 mph. Power outages are possible, & lower threat of Flash Flooding 2″-3″.  A few days to quiet down but turning colder with near freezing temperatures the next two mornings.
