“Since the show was postponed at the moment, it was a sort of sigh of relief, because I felt like I was not fully prepared for it. The fact that it was pushed back did give us some time to perfect the show and the performance in general. Getting to actually perform the show is gonna be amazing. I know my family are ready for it. I know a lot of the people around the town and even further than that are very happy and prepared to watch the show and ready for it,” said Chance Mock, as “Boolie Werthan” in “Driving Miss Daisy”.

“When the show got postponed, I was ready to go and I was stoked. But, when it got postponed, I had to get back into the groove and re-learned some of my lines so I was able to give the people a good performance,” said Isaiah Carroll, as “Hoke Colburn” in “Driving Miss Daisy”.

“When I was reading the script, it kind of reminded me of my great grandfather’s and my uncles, and I just embody them and thought of how they said things. That’s how I came up with “Hoke,” said Isaiah Carroll, as “Hoke Colburn” in “Driving Miss Daisy”.

“The role I play is very different from any other role that I’ve played to date. This is probably the most serious role that I’ve ever played. In rehearsal we found the character, and I didn’t do any prior research of the character, because I wanted to form my own view of that character. Finding him in rehearsal was really, really fun to do,” said Chance Mock, as “Boolie Werthan” in “Driving Miss Daisy”.
