Cloudy skies overnight. Mostly cloudy with rain showers by Friday afternoon becoming a light to moderate steady rain during the evening and overnight into Saturday morning. Rain returns and possibly a few strong to severe t’storms Saturday afternoon and evening. Main threats: gusty winds, heavy rainfall, but cannot rule out a brief, isolated tornado. Localized flash flooding is possible. 2″-3″ of rainfall with isolated higher totals. More rain mainly on the lighter side for Sunday. Gradually drier and much cooler midweek with upper 30s possible again by end of next week.
