CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: October 2, 2023

Hazy skies overnight. Back into the upper 50’s for a few areas tonight, but it could be cooler if the winds lighten up enough. Coolest so far in Albany, GA was 57° on September 23. Sunny & breezy Tuesday. Mild afternoons, east-northeasterly breeze, & seasonal mornings. An isolated shower chance on Friday. Much cooler air arrives with a strong cold front this weekend. Widespread temperatures in the lower to middle 50’s, even a few areas in the upper 40’s late in the weekend into early next week. Increased cloud cover at night might keep the coldest readings from being realized in otherwise ideal radiational cooling conditions. Still cool for Columbus Day.
