The hottest weather of the year so far is expected this week and weekend. We will likely surpass Albany’s hottest temperature so far of 99° (August 14th). The dry stretch holds until Sunday into early next week. The tropics are extremely active marking off the names Emily, Franklin, Gert, and now likely Harold. None are a threat to SWGA.
