Heating up this weekend...Near record & extremely dangerous heat next week!!!

Dry stretch holds except for very slim rain chance <20% Sunday. The “death ridge” builds over the SE U.S. mid-late next week. Dangerous heat wave could be worst than this past week’s! Heat index “feels-like” could approach extremely dangerous levels 110°-115°!
Hilary now a Major Hurricane. 2 tropical systems on record have officially made landfall in CA. Long Beach (1939) & Hyacinth (1972). Brushed by Kay last year, & last direct impacts Nora (1997). SoCal could see double or triple their yearly average rainfall totals that will cause flooding and possible mudslides.
4 areas to watch for possible tropical development in the Atlantic! Tropical wave near Bahamas may develop in Gulf of Mexico early next week.
