ESPN analyst and former NFL player, Harry Douglas, talks about the opportunity of giving to the youth of Albany.

“I know there a lot of cities that may be bigger than Albany, Georgia, but I consider everyone on the same playing field. My wife has family down is this area that owns a restaurant that has been here for a very long time. A lot of my friends that I grew up with, went to college with, they’re from this area. So, to be able to be here with peach state health plan, to provide these services and to give these young kids hope, give them a sense of satisfaction before they start school means everything in the world to me, said Harry Douglas, ESPN analyst and former NFL player.

“I think being able to allow kids to go to school with a smile on their face, not having things to worry about, I think anytime we have a chance to do those type of things, I view it as important…it’s very high on my list. A lot of these young kids go through things and a lot of things are out their control. So, when you can control some things and allow them to have, when on a normal basis they might not have. I think it boost their energy, it gives them confidence to wanna learn, to wanna go to school. All it takes is a small gesture to give these kids confidence that they can do. And, I think the more we give these youngsters an opportunity, I think the better they will be as they continue to grow and aspire to be great things when they grow up,” said Douglas.
