Hazy, hot, and more humid!
Smoke from Canadian wildfires is paying us a visit again about 5-10 km over SE U.S. this afternoon, making for a hazy & milky sky. The smoke will disperse to the south and east by Wednesday.
The heat peaks Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures in the upper 90s. Heat index “feels-like” 105-110. Practice heat safety, stay hydrated, stay cool in the A/C if you can, and make sure to look before you lock by checking the backseat!
Tropical Depression Don continues to spin over the northern Atlantic and will remain a “fish storm” out-to-sea, but could turn into a full Tropical Storm before it weakens in a few days.
