Strong storms Sunday-Monday?

More isolated chances of showers and thunderstorms through the weekend in the mid-90’s with “feels-like” in the lower triple digits. Temperatures may actually drop slightly below average with rain and thunderstorms becoming likely late Sunday & especially on Monday. There is a Marginal to Slight Risk for a few strong-severe thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon through the evening hours. Main threats: damaging wind, small hail, heavy rainfall, & frequent lightning. Heavy rain threat into Monday. Tropics remain quiet at this time.
