CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: April 17, 2023
Cool nights, warm days continue
It’s been a marvelous Monday, but with relative humidity at 25 percent or less and elevated winds with occasional gusts of 25-30 mph is resulting in a high fire danger. Be careful if you plan to burn! Check with fire officials before you burn! These high fire danger conditions will last a couple more days until humidity levels rise again by the middle of the week. Still dry the rest of the week as temperatures climb into the mid-upper 80’s. A cold front brings a slight rain chance back late on Saturday, but exact timing remains uncertain at this time. Another surge of much cooler air follows this storm system with highs in the lower-mid 70’s, lows in the mid-upper 40’s.
