Gradually warming up before better rain chances
The chilly air from this weekend “Easter Snap” has extended into the start of the work week. The stubborn clouds were slow to erode, but we finished out with sunny skies in a few spots. Temperatures gradually warm the next few days before better rain chances return on Thursday as moisture returns from a cut-off low pressure system along the Gulf coast. Rain will be scattered as the low meanders and lifts away to the northwest on Friday. Drier and slightly above average on Saturday back into the low-mid 80’s. Next storm system approaches with rain and thunderstorms likely again by Sunday.
