Catan is now available on the Nintendo Switch

You can now trade your Catan set for a Switch version.

The multiplayer board game is now available on the Nintendo console for $19.99, which includes the original board and the Seafarers Expansion.

In the popular game, players work to build settlements on the island of Catan by acquiring and trading four key resources. Settlements generate points, and the first player to reach a certain number of points wins. Up to four players can play together at a time.

The Seafarers Expansion allows for the ability to build ships and potentially encounter pirates.

The Cities and Knights Expansion, however, must be purchased separately for $5.99.

Those with a Nintendo Switch online membership can play with players anywhere via the online mode.

Catan is distributed in more than 39 languages and has sold more than 27 million physical units since 1995, according to the game’s website.
