Today’s Weather Authority Forecast: February 13, 2023
Happy Monday! We’re drying out and warming up this week after a rainy, cold weekend.
Lows dip into the mid-upper 30’s tonight as radiational cooling takes over. Highs warm into the low 70’s the next few days, closer to 80 degrees by Thursday.
After a few days to dry out, rain returns late Thursday thru Friday morning. There is a low-end risk of strong to severe t’storms during this time mainly for the counties along the AL/GA line.

Rainfall totals with this storm system look much lower than this past weekend’s event, and since it will be progressive, and the rain that falls will be over areas that didn’t receive the heaviest rainfall, flooding is not a concern at this time.
Sunshine returns this weekend. Near freezing temperatures are possible Saturday morning. Temperatures rebound quickly next week on the roller-coaster ride called “February”.
