The atmospheric river of storm systems coming from the eastern Pacific continues to hit the west hard.

Rain will be likely in SoCal for the National Football Championship game as UGA takes on TCU!

The good news is that the dome will be closed to keep fans dry! Go Dawgs!

Back here at home, we keep cloudy skies for tonight. Morning lows in the mid-upper 30’s.

Mostly cloudy skies Tuesday with temperatures a few degrees above average in the upper 60’s.

The energetic series of storm systems moves east with one of these impacting our area by Thursday into Friday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms will once again be possible.

A slight risk of severe weather has already been issued for northwestern portions of SWGA.

Then, much colder air returns to the eastern U.S. as a deep trough digs in.

Freezing temperatures are likely by the weekend.

Then, a return to seasonal weather for MLK Jr. Day!
