Colquitt County Arts Center to host first Southern Arts Invitational

MOULTRIE, Ga. —  The Colquitt County Arts Center is looking for local artists interested in their first ever Southern Arts Invitational.

The arts center is looking for artists from our area to as far as North Carolina to submit pieces for the first regional exhibition in September.

Arts Center Curator, Sunni Macarri Rosa says that the invitational is open to anyone’s artwork through the end of October.

Rosa also says that this event is meant to help spur creativity during the pandemic and they want this to be a big annual event in Moultrie.

“We wanted to reach out to local artists, as well as surrounding artists as well, to give them an outlet during the pandemic, and make this an annual thing that we have to really showcase the local talents we have…,” says Rosa.
