TIFTON, Ga. —  An Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College tradition has a new date after it was canceled earlier this year.

The 11th annual Run for the Nurses which was originally set to take place on April 4th, is now set for Saturday, October 24th, at the campus in Tifton.

Race organizer, Ric Stewart says that after having the original date for the run canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, the college is excited to have a meaningful event like this back on the calendar.

“I know a lot of people have been eager to have something on their calendars again, and something to look forward to. So we’re glad to be able to have a date on the calendar where we can have runners gather safely to compete for this event,” says Stewart.
